Nanna Rous' Town House bed and breakfast was built in 1860. The church and Manse was converted into accommodation, was originally built in 1830.

We are in the less busy part of town without much noise. Out town Colesberg is rich in history of the Boer Wars.

Take a walk through the Colesberg town to all the historic buildings and discover the history of Colesberg with a visit to the Kemper museum and at the Colesberg information centrum you can do prior arrangements for a guided tour.

Where to eat in Colesberg will not be a problem with a few restaurants walking distance from our establishment.

If you want to be introduced to true Karoo food we recommend Bordeaux Restaurant and Coffee Shop with a licensed restaurant. It will be easy to find located in the main street of Colesberg. Enjoy delicious Karoo Cuisine in the Restaurant or in the outside garden.

With a diversity of over 172 different species of birds and wildlife to enjoy you will find the Nature reserve Doornkloof driving distance from Nanna Rous' Town House a nice place to visit.
