Quaggasfontein is a superb up-market destination, where strangers become friends and you can rest assured that you will be staying more than a few days.

The Farm offers a lot of activities, apart from game drives, hunting in season, picnics, there is the pool, tennis courts which may be enjoyed during the day or evening, billiard room, darts. guided game walks, authentic bushmen paintings to name but a few.

Accommodation – although not graded yet we are on the level of a three star. Grading in process.

All rooms have coffee/tea stations, fans, heaters, and honesty bar. Soaps, shampoo and body lotions for pampering are provided in all bathrooms with lovely fluffy towels. There are rooms to suit all types of traveler’s.

  • The Lodge comprises of 7 rooms all on suite – sleeps 14
  • Family rooms which sleeps 4 and share a bathroom.
  • Separate Unit which sleeps 2 on suite.
  • Barroom which sleeps 2 on suite
  • Cottage comprises of three rooms, of which 2 are on suite and one bathroom opposite bedroom. – Sleeps 6

From Cape Town, as you enter Colesberg you will see the Engen Garage with Wimpy on your left, turn into that road and continue past the Engen for 28km. Quaggasfontein will be on your right.

From Johannesburg, you will reach Colesberg and drive past the first entrance to Colesberg and at the second turnoff into Colesberg you will turn right into the Engen Wimpy garage and continue on the dirt road for 28 km. Quaggasfontein on your right.
